RAYCURE 940 — Reactive Polyamide Curing Agent
RAYCURE 940 is a reactive polyamide curing agent combining low viscosity with a generous pot-life, well-suited to solvent-free flooring, tank lining, and adhesive applications. Its relatively low equivalent weight permits use at moderate addition levels, while the high amine value contributes to rapid through-cure even in thick film sections — delivering strong chemical and corrosion resistance across a wide range of industrial uses in UAE and GCC.

Applications — GCC, Africa & Beyond
- Solvent-free industrial flooring and self-levelling systems for warehouses and factories in UAE and Saudi Arabia
- Tank, vessel, and pipe lining coatings for chemical and water storage in GCC industrial facilities
- Highway, bridge deck, and concrete repair compounds for infrastructure projects
- Metal and plastic substrate adhesives for industrial maintenance applications
- Heavy-duty maintenance coatings for steel structures exposed to chemical environments
- Thick-film protective coatings where extended pot-life is required for large area application
Key Properties
- Low viscosity enabling high filler loading at practical mix ratios
- Good pigment wetting and adhesion to diverse substrate types
- Dependable chemical and corrosion resistance in service
- Extended pot-life supporting large area and thick-film application
- Rapid through-cure in thick sections due to high amine value
- Suitable for solvent-free formulations — zero VOC from hardener
- Compatible with aromatic hydrocarbon diluents
Usage & Recommendations
Recommended addition: 45–50 g per 100 g epoxy (EEW 190) or 18–20 g per 100 g epoxy (EEW 500). RAYCURE K54 (DMP-30) may be added to accelerate through-cure in thin-film applications without sacrificing pot-life or film flexibility. Avoid ketones and esters — do not use as diluents. Use aromatic hydrocarbons or diacetone alcohol for viscosity adjustment.
