RAYCURE 718 is a reactive polyamine hardener formulated for room-temperature and cold-temperature curing of liquid epoxy resin systems. Particularly suited to solvent-free industrial flooring, tank lining, and concrete adhesive applications where high mechanical performance and rapid return to service are critical — and where GCC climate conditions (humidity, heat) demand a robust cure.

Usage & Recommendations

Recommended addition: 60 g per 100 g epoxy (EEW 190). Nonyl phenol at 1.0–2.0% may be used as an accelerator to shorten cure time — apply judiciously to avoid compromising pot-life, flexibility, or colour. Compatible with RAYPOXY YR-128 and RAYCURE RD12 reactive diluent. For GCC summer applications, mix smaller batches to manage pot-life reduction at elevated ambient temperatures.

RAYCURE 718 is a reactive polyamine hardener with high humidity tolerance and strong adhesion to concrete in coastal UAE and Saudi Arabia environments. It cures reliably at the elevated relative humidity (80–95% RH) common in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Doha coastal construction sites where standard polyamide hardeners suffer from amine blushing.

At 25°C, pot-life is approximately 45–60 minutes for a 100g mass. In GCC summer conditions (40–45°C), pot-life reduces to 15–25 minutes. Apply in shaded areas and in smaller batches during summer. RAYCURE RD12 reactive diluent reduces viscosity without affecting pot-life significantly.
