RAYCURE 718 — Reactive Polyamine Epoxy Hardener
RAYCURE 718 is a reactive polyamine hardener formulated for room-temperature and cold-temperature curing of liquid epoxy resin systems. Particularly suited to solvent-free industrial flooring, tank lining, and concrete adhesive applications where high mechanical performance and rapid return to service are critical — and where GCC climate conditions (humidity, heat) demand a robust cure.

Applications — GCC, Africa & Beyond
- Room-temperature and cold-curing industrial flooring systems — warehouses and factories across UAE and Saudi Arabia
- Solvent-free tank linings and protective coatings — chemical storage and process tanks in GCC industrial facilities
- Concrete adhesives and repair mortars for infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia and UAE
- Decorative self-levelling systems in high-humidity coastal UAE conditions
- Marine coatings requiring cold-cure capability for Arabian Gulf operations
- Anti-corrosion protective coatings for steel structures with rapid return to service
Key Properties
- Strong adhesion with high flexibility and impact strength
- Dependable water and corrosion resistance in service
- Good light stability under extended ambient exposure
- Effective cure at both room and sub-ambient temperatures
- High humidity tolerance — suitable for UAE coastal applications
- Rapid return-to-service — minimises operational downtime
- Compatible with aromatic hydrocarbon and diacetone alcohol solvents
Usage & Recommendations
Recommended addition: 60 g per 100 g epoxy (EEW 190). Nonyl phenol at 1.0–2.0% may be used as an accelerator to shorten cure time — apply judiciously to avoid compromising pot-life, flexibility, or colour. Compatible with RAYPOXY YR-128 and RAYCURE RD12 reactive diluent. For GCC summer applications, mix smaller batches to manage pot-life reduction at elevated ambient temperatures.
